Our 2023 Catholic Schools Week (CSW) celebration was filled with tradition: hosting our CSW Charity Challenge and our CSW Collection, welcoming students from All Saints Academy and St. Paul Catholic School to our CSW Mass, sharing the “good news” of Mater Dei (via parish bulletins and ads), and, of course, themed dress days!

We are proud to announce that a total of $3,230 was donated to our CSW Charity Challenge for the benefit of Michael and Emily Scott and their son, Wade, to assist with expenses related to medical care required after Wade’s premature birth.  (Michael and Emily are both members of our Class of 2011.)

Additionally, donations to our CSW Collection, held for the benefit of 1st Step Early Head Start to support families in Clinton County and Washington County, included over 700 diapers and pull-ups, over 100 cleaning supplies, and over 25 laundry supplies.

We are sincerely grateful to both our Mater Dei Family and community members for serving as the hands of Christ for the benefit of others!

Most importantly, CSW provides an opportunity to celebrate the many members of the Mater Dei Family: our students and their families; our administration, faculty, and staff; our alumni and friends; our benefactors; and our parishes.  We are blessed!
