We look forward to hosting students in grades 5 – 8 at our 2026 youth band camp!
This camp provides students of all skill levels with the opportunity to further develop both their music skills and their confidence as a musician. With a focus on note reading and rhythm reading in the context of specific songs, Mater Dei students and staff will guide ensemble and sectional practices. The camp will conclude with a concert, during which two ensembles will perform: ensemble #1 – grades 5 and 6 and ensemble #2 – grades 7 and 8.

Eligibility and Equipment, and Schedule
Students entering grade 5, 6, 7, or 8 are invited to attend. All campers should bring their instrument except percussionists and those who play a large instrument (such as a tuba), as those instruments will be provided.

The registration fee is $50 for an individual camper and $40 for each additional camper from the same family.
Registrations (with payment) must be received by May 17 to guarantee a shirt. Late registrations via the printed registration form are accepted, including on the first day of camp.
