On July 1, 2026, we excitedly welcomed Ms. Brandi Borries to her first official day as Mater Dei’s principal!
Ms. Borries, who holds both a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Eastern Illinois University, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, as she has served in education for over 20 years, most recently as Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Springfield.
She shared, “I am deeply honored to accept this appointment. I look forward to partnering with pastors, faculty, and families to continue the tradition of excellence that Mater Dei Catholic High School is known for and to ensure our students grow in both knowledge and faith.”
Mrs. Sarah Lanham, Superintendent of Schools and Director of Education for the Diocese of Belleville shared, “Brandi brings a deep commitment to Catholic education, proven leadership experience, and a clear vision for forming the whole student. Her strong background as both a principal and diocesan leader, along with her unwavering dedication to faith-centered excellence, position her well to lead Mater Dei Catholic High School into its next chapter.”
