Eli Kohrmann
Congratulations to freshman Eli Kohrmann, our Student of the Week for the week of September 7!  In her nomination, English teacher Mrs. Melissa Kunkle stated, “Eli is off to a fantastic start to his first year of high school. He is excelling in using all the various technology platforms we are employing at Mater Dei. In our study of fiction in English I, Eli is able to answer questions readily, actively participate in class discussion, and offer thought-provoking ideas. His success is a direct result of his willingness to come to class prepared and eager to learn.  Congratulations, Eli!”  Eli is the son of Jason and Tina Kohrmann of Germantown and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.


Aidan Toennies
Congratulations to freshman Aidan Toennies, our Student of the Week for the week of September 14!  In his nomination, science teacher Mr. Trevor Durham stated, “It is with great pleasure that I nominate Aidan, who has earned this honor for working hard and living the Mater Dei Mission.  On a daily basis, he comes ready to work, and his willingness to learn shines.  He is eager to contribute, as well as to help others succeed in class. His positive attitude never goes unnoticed!  I look forward to watching him grow and have a positive impact on his peers, as Aidan has a bright future both in the classroom and on the basketball court. Congrats, Aidan, on this well-deserved recognition!”  Aidan is the son of Tim and Jodi Toennies of Damiansville and a member of St. Damian Catholic Church.


Josie Przygoda
Congratulations to junior Josie Przygoda, our Student of the Week for the week of September 21!  In her nomination, mathematics teacher Mrs. Deb Foote stated, “Josie’s work in my Algebra II Honors class has been exceptional!  In addition to doing well on her class work and tests, she participates in class by answering and asking questions.  Josie always has a smile on her face, and I enjoy her pleasant disposition.  It truly is my pleasure to have Josie in class!  Congratulations, Josie, on your commitment and determination to do well!”  Josie is the daughter of Mark and Rebecca Przygoda of Breese and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.


Jaidyn Kreke
Congratulations to junior Jaidyn Kreke, our Student of the Week for the week of September 28!  In her nomination, English teacher Mrs. Donna Goetz stated, “Jaidyn is one of those students who is always attentive in class and who participates in class discussions. She turns in her work on time in an exemplary manner. Additionally, Jaidyn is not afraid to ask questions for clarification if needed. She comes to class each day with a smile and ready to learn. I believe that Jaidyn will accomplish great things and grow as a writer this year.  Congratulations, Jaidyn!”  Jaidyn is the daughter of Patrick and Nicole Kreke of Bartelso and a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
