Dakota Hemker Congratulations to Dakota Hemker, our Student of the Week for the week of March 4! In his nomination, theology teacher Mr. Thomas Schniers stated, “Dakota is constantly the source of thoughtful and articulate insight in our senior Catholic Social Teaching class. He is willing to ask the tough questions that stir up discussion and debate, while adding some wit and humor as well. It’s a real joy to have the opportunity and privilege to teach Dakota.” Dakota is the son of Travis and Jeanna Hemker and a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church.
Hayley Palm Congratulations to Hayley Palm, our Student of the Week for the week of March 11! In his nomination, physical education teacher Mr. Jim Stiebel stated, “Hayley is an outstanding young athlete who has amazing motivation to achieve any goal she sets for herself! She displays a wonderful work ethic and is always pushing herself. In addition, leadership comes naturally to Hayley, who is consistently challenging herself and others in the weight room to work toward the goal of an outstanding softball season. She truly embraces the “Hard Work Pays Off” theory and embodies it in the weight room. I know Hayley will achieve success in everything she puts her mind to!” Hayley is the daughter of Mike and Linda Palm and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Tanner Gerdes Congratulations to Tanner Gerdes, our Student of the Week for the week of March 25! In his nomination, science and mathematics teacher Mr. Dwight Thomas stated, “Tanner is a quiet and respectful young man who is well-liked by both his teachers and his peers. In my chemistry and statistics classes, Tanner proves to be a conscientious and dedicated student. As a result, he is excelling in both classes. He also participates in extracurricular activities at school and in the community, and he always shows concern for his fellow classmates throughout the day. Congratulations, Tanner!” Tanner is the son of Ron and Donna Gerdes and a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Bartelso.
