Congratulations to Mr. Blake Korte, our Disciple of the Week!  In her nomination, Mrs. Donna Goetz stated, “I am pleased to select Mr. Blake Korte as our Disciple of the Week. He spends countless hours with students in the various ensembles offered at Mater Dei: marching band, concert band, jazz band, indoor percussion, wind ensemble, beginning chorus, and noon chorus. Soon, he will also begin rehearsing with the pit orchestra for the spring musical. Mr. Korte not only provides instruction during the school day, but devotes much of his “off duty” time preparing his students for field show performances, concerts, parades, and contests. Most importantly, he does this all in the spirit of Christ. Congratulations, Mr. Korte!”
