On May 26, 2003, we celebrated the graduation of our Class of 2023!  We congratulate our graduates and pray they are blessed with continued success!

Valedictorians
The following seniors earned a 4.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale: Rachel Boehning, Marley Jansen, Julia Korte, Josie Lampe, Mitchell Mannhard, Megan Melone, Benjamin Miller, Luke Pingsterhaus, Avery Rahden, Shyanne Thompson, and Eden VanDorn.

Academic Honors
Forty-two members (49%) of the Class of 2023 earned academic honors, as follows: twenty-six summa cum laude (3.9 to 4.0 GPA, blue cord), nine magna cum laude (3.8 to 3.89 GPA, red cord), and seven cum laude (3.7 to 3.79 GPA, white cord).

National Honor Society (NHS)
Fifty-three members (62%) of the Class of 2023 were National Honor Society members (GPA of 3.6 or higher).

Illinois State Scholars
The following seniors, representing 20% of eligible members of the Class of 2023, earned recognition as Illinois State Scholars: Rachel Boehning, Madison Bonner, Jack Heimann, Marley Jansen, Julia Korte, Josie Lampe, Mitchell Mannhard, Megan Melone, Benjamin Miller, Ellen Nuxoll, Luke Pingsterhaus, Avery Rahden, Carson Rickhoff, Brendan Strieker, Shyanne Thompson, Eden VanDorn, and Cohen Wiegers.  (International students are ineligible for this recognition.)

National Merit Scholarship Program Commended Student
Cohen Wiegers earned recognition as a commended student in the National Merit Scholarship Program.  (Approximately 50,000 students in the nation earn recognition as a commended student, a semifinalist, or a finalist).

Scholarships Offered
Sixty-four members (75%) of the Class of 2023 reported receiving scholarship offers, which totaled over $7 million.

College Credit Hours Earned
Through enrollment in our dual credit courses, the Class of 2023 earned nearly 1,500 hours of college credit.

Loving Their Faith
The Class of 2023 included six catechists, who served Youth Faith Formation and Parish School of Religion (PSR) programs at local parishes, and fourteen extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion.

Living Their Faith
The Class of 2023 provided nearly 12,500 hours of service related to the Works of Mercy, donated to orphanages in Haiti and Venezuela as their class mission, and funded a $712 Pay It Forward Scholarship for the Class of 2027.

Post-Graduation Plans
Members of the Class of 2022 plan to attend the following institutions: Ball State University, Blackburn College, Earlham College, Eastern Illinois University, Emory University, Illinois College, Illinois State University, Kaskaskia College, Lindenwood University, Maryville University, McKendree University, Missouri State University, Missouri University of Science & Technology, Murray State University, North American Lineman Training Center, Northern Illinois University, Oklahoma State University, St. Louis University, Southeast Missouri State University, Southeastern Illinois College, Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Southwestern Illinois College, University of Alabama, University of Arkansas, University of California Berkeley, University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy, University of Illinois, University of Kentucky, University of Missouri, and University of Tampa.
