Annalyse Richter
Congratulations to sophomore Annalyse Richter, our Student of the Week for the week of November 4!  In her nomination, math teacher Ms. Cheryl Sackett stated, “With an ever present positive attitude, Annalyse strives for excellence in all her classes while balancing the demands of challenging classes and school and club volleyball. Indeed, she earned the highest score on her last Algebra II & Trigonometry test!  Congratulations, Annalyse!”  Annalyse is the daughter of Gary and Carol Richter of Highland and member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

 

Logan Mattson
Congratulations to junior Logan Mattson, our Student of the Week for the week of November 11!  In his nomination, Introduction to Engineering teacher Mr. Doug Ratermann stated, “Logan is very deserving to be the Student of the Week. He comes to class with the desire to learn and the attitude that he can handle any topic or assignment our Introduction to Engineering class is working on that day. Logan is meticulous in his work and willing to lend help or an explanation to fellow classmates. All of these characteristics are the makings of a good engineer that will be welcomed on any design team in his future career.  Congratulations, Logan!”  Logan is the son of Brian and Nancy Mattson of Germantown and a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

 

Cohen Wiegers
Congratulations to freshman Cohen Wiegers, our Student of the Week for the week of November 18!  In his nomination, social studies teacher Mr. Gary Pollmann stated, “Cohen strives for excellence in not only American Government, but also the rest of his classes. He is well informed of the political world around him and often has relevant input in conversations about politics and the workings of our nation’s government. Cohen participates in class discussions and is a “go-to student” for the answer for homework and review questions. His application of knowledge, hard work, and dedication to academics makes him worthy of this nomination and recognition. Congratulations, Cohen!”  Cohen is the son of Dinah Sudholt and Mark Wiegers and a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.

 

Aiden Varel
Congratulations to freshman Aiden Varel, our Student of the Week for the week of November 25!  In his nomination, health teacher Mr. Brian Perkes stated, “Aiden is what I would consider to be the perfect student.  He is well prepared for class and works extremely hard on all assignments and tests.  Moreover, his behavior is very respectful and polite.  Aiden sets a great example for the entire MD student body.  Congratulations, Aiden!”  Aiden is the son of Dave and Rachel Varel and a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church.
