Congratulations to psychology teacher and counselor Mrs. Tammy Carroll, our Disciple of the Week for the week of November 5!  In her nomination, art teacher Mrs. Vicki Moylan stated, “I am honored to recognize Tammy, who tirelessly works with our students as a teacher and counselor.  She schedules important presentations for the students, spends time with various student groups, and finds time to provide one-on-one attention to students needing assistance.  Thank you for making a difference in our student’s school life here at Mater Dei Catholic High School!”

Mrs. Heather Land
Congratulations to business education teacher Mrs. Heather Land, our Disciple of the Week for the week of November 12!  In her nomination, psychology teacher and counselor Mrs. Tammy Carroll stated, “It is my pleasure to recognize Mrs. Heather Land!  Heather’s outstanding leadership skills, rigorous classroom expectations, and commitment to meeting the individual needs of her students are just a few of the outstanding qualities she shares with us each day. I especially admire and appreciate Heather’s positive attitude, energetic personality, and generous heart as she graciously balances the demands of family, career, faith, and service to our school.  She even finds time to sponsor FBLA and co-sponsor the school newspaper! Thus, for her extraordinary talents, as well as the many ways she brings God’s love and joy into our midst, I happily recognize Heather in this special way.”

Mr. Daniel Litteken
Congratulations to mathematics teacher Mr. Daniel Litteken, our Disciple of the Week for the week of November 19!  In her nomination, business education teacher Mrs. Heather Land stated, “Along with rigorous coursework he develops for his classroom and his coaching obligations, Daniel is also our in-house IT person. He spends many of his prep periods in my computer lab helping to resolve different computer, printer, and technical issues. He also spends time outside of school researching the problems to find a way to resolve them. The students at Mater Dei are always his first concern, as he wants to provide them with the best experience possible! Daniel is a true disciple, and the Mater Dei community is blessed to have him as part of our family.”
