In her nomination, Mrs. Tammy Carroll stated, “These gentlemen always smile, even when I ask them annoying questions: ‘How do I find the heater? Where do we go for the in-service? What’s the schedule on Mass day again? Will you help me unlock my classroom door (for the 29th time)?’ Gary is always calm and reassuring, even when I’m dazed and confused. When he walks by my classroom, Travis always tells my students to listen to me, which makes me laugh. Come to think of it, everyone in my hallway goes out of their way to check on me, to say ‘Hey!’ and to help me find my way. Their patience and cheerfulness help me feel at home here, and I can’t begin to express how much that means to me.”
