We look forward to hosting our placement test for current eighth-grade students on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Note that there is no fee to complete the test.  Additionally, completion of the test is recommended, but not required for enrollment.

The results of the placement test (PSAT 8/9) are utilized by our department chairs to determine course recommendations.  The course recommendations are provided to families at the time of registration.

WHAT TO BRING
–  Two #2 pencils (not mechanical)
–  Calculator (A scientific calculator is acceptable, but calculators on phones or other electronic
devices are not permitted.)
–  A water bottle and/or snack (optional)

NOTE  Students enrolled at the following schools will complete the test through their school on a different date:  Albers, All Saints Academy, Aviston, Bartelso, Breese, Damiansville, Germantown, and St. Rose.  These students are not required to take the test at Mater Dei, as we will automatically receive the results.

NOTE  A student who is not enrolled in the previously listed schools, but who completes the PSAT 8/9 test at his/her school, may provide the results to Mater Dei (and not retake the test at Mater Dei).
